The Indonesian Ministry of Religion recognizes that the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Palu, Central Sulawesi, deserves a status change to a State Islamic University (UIN) as a form of accelerating the development of this tertiary institutions in Central Sulawesi.
"IAIN Palu is feasible," said the Director General of Islamic Education at the Ministry of Religion, Prof. Dr. Kamaruddin Amin, in Palu, Thursday.
